9 Years Old

Another year whips by and it is Ramana's birthday again. Where do the days go? It seem just like yesterday we were cleaning up after her last party. This birthday got off to a rocky start. The birthday girl got sick two days before the big party and it had to be postponed. She took it like a real trooper. The family calibrated in spite of the illness but it was very subdued.

Ramana recovered from the tummy flu a few days later and the big slumber party was back on the calendar. February 3rd the house was filled with droves of pretty little girls playing games, having cake and exchanging gifts. Mom knows how to throw a party. Not all the girls could spend the night, but those that could kept the fun going to the wee hours.
