The Sword of the Iron Warrior |

 It was warm summer day and a group
of kids named Tristin, Amri, Hannah, Robbie, Chris were walking
to the museum of Knights and Kings. The museum was located in
a forest so it was a long walk.When they reached the museum they met their tour guide. He said, "Hello! My name is John. I will be your tour guide for today." As John showed the kids around the museum as the kids asked questions. When the kids thought the tour was over John said, "We have just found a new attraction. I would like to show it to you. Is that okay?" The children yelled, 'Yes!!" As the kids walked Amri said panting, " This must be a mile long!" Then John said, "Nope. Only a quarter mile… Look, were here!" There stood in front of them was a large rock with a sword stabbed in the middle of it!!! The kids stood there speechless. John broke the silence. He explained the sword was told to be magic and the only person who could hold it, is it's rightful owner. "Legion has it that the only person who has held it was Lord Venseront." For some reason that name sounded familiar to Tristin. Then Robbie said, "Can we try to pull it out?" "Why not? Tons of people have tried." The girls tried first. "Hhuunnggaa!!" Next Chris. "Hhhuuunnngggaaa!!" Then Robbie tried. "Hhhhuuuunnnnggggaaaa!!" The sword moved a little. Robbie hopped down and said, "You try it Trist." "Nah. I'm too weak." But unlike what Tristin said he was the strongest of the group. So he climbed up the rock. He put his feet a part on the rock. He griped both hands on the handle of the sword. Both his palms and forehead were sweating. The kids below were crossing their fingers and cheering him on. Tristin was scared. What would happen if he pulled it out? What would it do to him? He pulled on the sword lightly. It started to slide out slowly. The sword lifted out of the rock and then a burst of light blinded every one. When every one could see again they all stared at Tristin. He was taller, muscular, and had long bright red hair. Tristin, in one leap, jumped down from the top of the rock. As the rest of the kids stood there not saying a word Tristin explained that he needed to give some of his power to several people. "I have some thing to tell you guys. I have decided to give all of you, except John, the power of the Iron Warrior. Oh! I forgot to tell you. When you get the power you will get knight's armor and weapon, strength, special powers, and a bird of prey." The kids said thanks, kneed down and bowed their heads. Tristin went over to them. He turned to Amri. He placed the sword on her shoulder. Then he said, "Amri you will have the Snowy Owl." He did the same to every one. Hannah got the Great Horned Owl, Robbie got the Falcon, Chris got the Hawk, and Tristin got the Bald Eagle. After they were knighted and got their powers their birds swooped down and landed on their shoulders. They all thanked Tristin. From then on the group called themselves "The Knights" and traveled all around the world fighting crime, aliens, robots, and other evil things. |
